1. Record your expenses
The first step in saving money is to know how much you’re spending. For one month, keep a record of everything you spend. That means every coffee, every newspaper and every snack you purchase for the entire month. Once you have your data, organize these numbers by category—for example: gas, groceries, mortgage and so on—and get the total amount for each.
2. Make a budget
Now that you have a good idea of what you spend in a month, you can build a budget to plan your spending, limit over-spending and make sure that you put money away in an emergency savings fund. Remember to include expenses that happen regularly, but not every month, like car maintenance check-ups. Find more information on creating a budget.
3. Plan on saving money
Taking into consideration your monthly expenses and earnings, create a savings category within your budget and try to make it at least 10-15 percent of your net income. If your expenses won't let you save that much, it might be time to cut back. Look for non-essentials that you can spend less on—for example: entertainment and dining out—before thinking about saving money on essentials such as your vehicle or home.
4. Set savings goals
Setting savings goals makes it much easier to get started. Begin by deciding how long it will take to reach each goal. Some short-term goals (which can usually take 1-3 years) include:
-Starting an emergency fund to cover 6 months to a year of living expenses (in case of job loss or other emergencies)
-Saving money for a vacation
-Saving to buy a new car
-Saving to pay taxes (if they are not already deducted by your employer)
-Long-term savings goals are often several years or even decades away and can include:
-Saving for retirement
-Putting money away for your child's college education
-Saving for a down payment on a house or to remodel your current home
5. Decide on your priorities
Different people have different priorities when it comes to saving money, so it makes sense to decide which savings goals are most important to you. Part of this process is deciding how long you can wait to save up for a goal and how much you want to put away each month to help you reach it. As you do this for all your goals, order them by priority and set money aside accordingly in your monthly budget. Remember that setting priorities means making choices. If you want to focus on saving for retirement, some other goals might have to take a back seat while you make sure you're hitting your top targets.

5 tips how to study smart
- Get organized. Staying organized is key. Make sure you have a notebook for each class and organize your notes, handouts, graded tests, papers and quizzes. When you prepare to study, have all the materials – syllabus, pens, paper, pencils, calculator or whatever you'll need for that particular study session. Use a planner to keep track of long- and short-term projects. Set a schedule and stick to it.
- Pick your time and place. Experts advise students to study in chunks of shorter time and to avoid marathon study sessions. If possible, it's best to use work hours – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. – for classes and studying. Every campus has great places to study – but your dorm room may not be one of them since there is likely both a bed and a TV to lure you away from your work. Look for spots with good lighting and few distractions. A study carrel at the library may be perfect for writing a paper or working equations, but there's nothing wrong with getting cozy in a tucked-away corner of a coffee shop for some tasks, such as reviewing notes. Try studying at the same time daily, giving your most challenging classes top priority.
- Take good notes and review them correctly. Class notes are a crucial part of studying in college. Taking good notes forces you to listen carefully and helps you remember the important points even before you study them. So when you're taking notes during a lecture, listen carefully. Record only the main points and concentrate on key words, leaving plenty of white space to write in more information as needed. Take time to continue working on your notes as soon as possible. Add details you remember and review what you've written. Make note of any questions you have. Keep your notes neat and in order.
- Attend class and participate. In college as in life, 90 percent of success is showing up. Studying will be much more effective if you know what your professor and classmates are talking about. Participate in discussions and ask questions.
Create study tools. Create outlines, timelines, charts and flashcards with your notes and reading materials. Simply working on these mini-projects can help you memorize the material, but using them to test yourself can reap rewards. - Rethink reading. Painstakingly reading every word may not be your best strategy. Learn to scan chapter headings, introductions, summaries and keywords. Read actively, searching for the main points. Take notes and write summaries.

100gm coklat gelap (satu bar coklat standard)
2 biji telur saiz besar
1 kuning telur saiz besar
3 sudu besar gula
3 sudu besar tepung
2 sudu kecil serbuk koko
1 secubit garam
4 paper cup atau 4 ramekins – disapu butter
100gm coklat gelap (satu bar coklat standard)
2 biji telur saiz besar
1 kuning telur saiz besar
3 sudu besar gula
3 sudu besar tepung
2 sudu kecil serbuk koko
1 secubit garam
4 paper cup atau 4 ramekins – disapu butter
Cara penyediaan:
Panaskan oven – 200degree (atas bawah) 180degree (hot air/udara panas)
WISHLIST
Each person in this world has a dream place which s/he would like to visit someday. For some it is an existing town, city or country. For others it may be something they have made up. The only opportunity to get there is to dream about it. However, sometimes even such dreams may come true. You just need to have a strong desire to make it come true. One of my absolute dream destinations, the Maldives are an exotic and beautiful collection of islands located right in the Indian Ocean. Over one thousand islands make up the nation, creating isolated and private destinations for travellers. This is the place to go to get away from it all and splurge in a luxurious resort. Virgin Holidays often carries excellent deals and offers for a trip to this exotic spot, so hopefully one day soon i will be writing our own stories about our trip to the Maldives.
UPS AND DOWNS
As life goes on, things get more complicated. You are no longer a child, but an adult who faces reality. To you, real life is nothing like fairy tales. Problems are not being easily solved and confusions are everywhere. There is never a long period of rest and peace. You should always be aware of everything preventing you to live an easy life. Moments of sadness and misery are much more frequent than those of happiness, filling your head with indescribable madness. Life is not only black and white, but is different shades of grey. No one is really right or wrong. Every person you trust may suddenly be gone. Now you wonder if every choice you make in life is a bet. What you can only do is to trust your instincts and prepare for the worst.
Despite the dark side, life can be full of excitement and surprises. As long as it is interesting and fulfilling, this world is no longer cruel and cold. Warmth and smiles still exist. Although there can be many bad times, never give up for a moment until your last breath. As there is a saying that every cloud has a silver lining, hope is always there for us :)
